I’ve had one crazy summer that included over 3,500 miles worth of traveling across the East coast for friends and interviews…
Two trips to Texas for Whataburgers and weddings…
Working Virginia Tech’s New Student Orientation…
Staffing Hokie Camp…(it’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta do it.)
And stressing out constantly. But I’ve finally settled down in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen: I am working for the University of Mary Washington. Alright, alright, alriiiiight….
What’s even better is Poppa Higg is in town to help me move. While I’m excited to have the help, I am even more excited to hang out with him for a few days.
We filled up the U-Haul on Saturday (shout out to David for being amazing and helping!)
OK. So maybe David and Poppa Higg did most of the heavy lifting…but I did my fair share in Freddyburg. F-burg. Ugh, how do you shorten Fredericksburg?
Anyways…This is what I’m currently sitting in while writing this post:
I would take a picture of my bedroom, but I’m too embarrassed at how ridiculous it looks.
I have a few more days with Poppa Higg until he leaves so my game plan is to organize as much as possible tomorrow so we can play around Virginia for a bit. Stay tuned for updates on our adventure.
